VIETNAM (CENTRAL)

There is a rhythm to Vietnam’s central coast that reveals itself slowly before sunrise and long after the markets fall quiet.
This series follows my first journey through Lang Co, Phu Loc, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, and Tam Thanh, tracing a shoreline where life is shaped by patience, movement, and repetition. Before dawn, fishing boats return from the night at sea, and as light breaks, markets surge with color, sound, and instinctive exchange.
Soon, the intensity gives way to stillness: quiet lagoon villages, drying nets, and pauses between tides. This work observes everyday life as it unfolds, un-staged and uninterrupted, following a natural rhythm from darkness to light, from movement to stillness: a story of continuity where no two days are ever quite the same.
